Hi đź‘‹, I am an Interaction Designer, Prototyper and User Researcher based out of Seattle with more than 7 years of experience with start-ups and industry leaders. My projects fall across a wide spectrum of disciplines including interactive spaces, tangible interaction design, screen-based media, and conversational interfaces. With an extensive interest in research methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative, my design decisions are driven by data.
Working closely with Product, Software Engineering and Field Operations to solve the complex and interesting challenges of automation in manufacturing. The problems we address on a daily basis provide a unique mix of interesting but rewarding technical and user interaction challenges – from calibrating the vision system to physical interactions with our robots and the software that drives them. My role in the team is to humanize complex robotic workflows for our non-expert user and rely on frequent validation from our end users to keep us on the right track.
Growing to be a UX evangelist by enhancing the design practice at e-Builder to include Job-to-be-done methodology, collaborative design thinking, creating a design system and using google tag manager all together to create a data driven design process.
Designing end-to-end experiences of having a home robot by informing design decisions through research. A core part of my duties was to translate those findings into the physical movements/interactions of the robot and the mobile app experience so that people can interact with/through their robot remotely.
Working with the XD team which is an overarching initiative, it has been a great opportunity to step back and look across all the products through a unified lens. Having research and data at the center of our process, I worked on new customer experience to make it uniquely Autodesk.
Supported the studio design team to build and test web application for an energy client. Worked on a bootstrap framework to maintain consistent visual language and bring the prototypes to life for the client to interact and understand our solution better. The prototypes were planned to be used as a first step towards implementation.
Worked on improving the first experience of Autodesk users through a new offering. Involved in the early stage of the project gave me the freedom to lay down the ground work and ask the right questions for the team to explore.
Involved in the complete production cycle of the web and mobile products from ideation, conceptualization up to the execution stage.
Mastered areas of Tangible Interaction, Digital Experiences, Design Thinking and Strategy. Worked to better define my design practise through my Graduate Thesis on the use of connected devices to help augment behavior change for the elderly.
Conceptualized an augmented experience of physical spaces in my thesis project on a International Convention Center project. Created interactive spaces with the right mix of formal and informal interactions.
Helped students have easier access to prototyping technologies including arduino, processing, raspberry Pi, kinect, etc.
Guided undergraduate interaction design students by providing constructive feedback and introducing design techniques/tools to improve their design process.
Volunteering my time through Designed.org to help design enthusiasts find a career path in user experience and design industry.

I had the pleasure of working with Krishna during his internship at Autodesk. Krishna was a real self starter that provided our team with fresh insights a new perspective. Krishna provided the project with a solid conceptual base that we continue to build upon. Great work! Jon Page - UX Manager, Autodesk Inc.

Krishna is the quintessential scientist-designer who can resolve complex problems with eureka type solutions. He is someone who is capable of looking beyond the obvious and question the ground rules. Sometime break them too for good. Shayak Sen - UX Manager, Commonfloor.com
